On Thursday 30th April, Mr Spalding and a group of 11 year 8 girls travelled to Bromsgrove Rugby Club for a girls only rugby festival. The girls have been giving up their lunchtimes on Wednesdays to practice and shown great commitment to eachother and to learning a new sport.
The day included a variety of activities working on rugby skills as well as some competitive games. It was amazing to see so many girls involved in the game of rugby. Women’s rugby is a hugely growing sport right now due to the success of Englands Red Roses.
