On Friday 3rd October, our Year 5 pupils embarked on an unforgettable trip to Blackwell Adventure, where they challenged themselves, supported one another, and truly embodied the Parkside Standard of Teamwork, Kindness, and Resilience.
From the moment they arrived, pupils were eager to take part in a wide range of exciting and adventurous activities – including climbing, zip wire, archery, and the low ropes course, to name just a few. For many, this was a chance to face their fears and step outside of their comfort zones – and they did so with courage and determination.
What made the trip especially memorable was the way pupils encouraged each other every step of the way. Whether cheering on a classmate halfway up the climbing wall or helping each other balance on the low ropes, the spirit of teamwork was clear to see. Their kindness and support made a real difference, turning nerves into smiles and challenges into achievements.
It was a fantastic experience full of learning, laughter, and personal growth. We are so proud of how every pupil represented Parkside and look forward to seeing them bring the confidence and skills they’ve developed back into the classroom.
