The pupils at Parkside had a fantastic time at Warwick Castle. We weren’t lucky enough for the trebuchet to be working however this didn’t sully the day. Pupils had a range of experiences from watching the bird show, exploring the rich collection of historical artefacts and engaged in a “battle-skills” workshop, getting hands on with medieval battle manoeuvres.
The highlight was a walk of the castle walls and a climb up the tower in which a pupil’s glasses miraculously survived the fall from the top of said tower! A very successful trip once again at Warwick castle.
