Our U13 girls’ team took on Witton in a tense and exciting Cup match. The game started with a setback as Witton took an early lead, capitalising on a quick break to make it 1-0. But Parkside stayed composed and scored twice in quick succession to give us a 2-1 lead at the break.
After half time, we continued to with confidence. Darcie D added to the tally in spectacular fashion, dribbling past three Witton players before calmly slotting the ball into the bottom left corner. Not long after, she was back on the scoresheet completing a well-deserved hat-trick.
Witton continued to battle until the final whistle, but Parkside completed a well-deserved victory.
