On Tuesday 8th April, over 60 students took part in the school’s Spring Concert. The concert commemorated both the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi Concentration Camps and Karl Jenkins’ 80th birthday. Jenkins has written a series of beautiful musical scores especially those that focus on war and army themes which the pupils performed. For many students it was the very first time they had ever performed, and they were amazing!
A special shout out to the Drumming Club and the Dance Club that only started practising in January for their first ever concert, and to the soloists, duets and readers who had such courage to perform in front of a very appreciative audience. We cannot wait for the Summer Concert!
