Our Year 6 residential trip was a great success, with pupils showing resilience, teamwork, and all the qualities of the Parkside Standards.
Throughout the trip, they took part in exciting activities including zip wire, monkey climb, low ropes, woodland team-building challenges, and paintballing. Every child faced challenges with determination and supported their peers along the way.
They also applied valuable life skills — taking care of themselves, washing up, and helping to keep the camp tidy. It was fantastic to see them work so well together in every aspect of camp life.
In the evenings, we gathered around the campfire for hot chocolate and marshmallows, sharing stories and enjoying each other’s company.
It was a trip full of fun, growth, and friendship — an experience packed with memories they’ll never forget!
