On Tuesday 17th June, a group of 8 Year 8 students took on an escape room challenge competing against teams from Aston Fields and St Johns Middle Schools. There were a variety of maths-based challenges, piecing together information that they had been given and from their surroundings to break into different padlocks.
This got them a key to be able to escape from the school. Split into boys against girls, our teams of 4 worked together, using skills they have developed in only 70 minutes. The students represented the school with pride, and we were delighted that the girls group escaped the room and won the trophy!
